North Carolina Department of Revenue Scheduled Auction Events

Under authority of North Carolina General Statute 105-242(a)(2), the property described here has been seized for nonpayment of North Carolina taxes and will be sold. 

Nature of Title:  The right, title and interest of the taxpayer in and to the property is offered for sale subject to any prior valid outstanding mortgages, encumbrances, or other liens in favor of third parties against the taxpayer that are superior to the lien of the North Carolina Department of Revenue.  All property is offered for sale “as is” and “where is” and without recourse against the State of North Carolina.  No guaranty or condition of any of the property, or its fitness for any use or purpose is offered by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

Form of Payment:  All payments must be by cash, certified check, cashiers check or money order.  Make check or money order payable to North Carolina Department of Revenue.

Cancellation of Sale Event:  The North Carolina Department reserves the right to cancel or postpone any scheduled sale without notice.
